I had this breakthrough while driving back from Massachusetts a week ago and all of a sudden i knew how to combine all my ideas into one massive super idea. Not all my characters, cause that would take a universe and i'm not that good a writer, but a major section of my brain started to make sense. I give you THE CHECKLIST ETERNAL.
